Local and multinational companies are always in search of qualified individuals to join their workforce. Education and skills are the essentials sought after by employers in their quest for employees (Hailey, 2015). The argument of whether universities should function as training grounds for employment can be substantiated and supported from different perspectives. In this essay, a supporting argument is carried out that introduces the reader to the role played by universities as training grounds for employment.

Since they are organized in departments and schools, this provides a broad range of support for different course training (Goldstein, 2010). Compared to small learning organizations such as colleges, the presence of departments in universities provides in-depth training through technology to students.
