Do I need to activate roaming on O2?
Before you set off, check if you have O2 Travel by visiting My O2 or calling our customer service team on 202. Get the O2 Travel Bolt On by texting O2TRAVEL to 23336. If you don’t activate O2 Travel, you’ll then be charged our standard roaming rates. This can take up to 24 hours to be applied to your account.
Why is my roaming not working O2?
Roaming may have been disabled on your device. Swipe up/down and go to Settings > Connections > Mobile networks and enable Data roaming. Be aware that you can only use data without extra charges within our EU zone. If you are traveling outside of EU, we recommend you to use our O2 Travel service.

There is no real difference between mobile data and data roaming except for the fact that roaming allows your phone to access internet service using another network. When you switch off mobile data, it closes the internet access to any cellular network no matter which one your phone is connected to.
How can I solve my roaming problem?
Follow these steps:
- Open the Settings app.
- In the Wireless & Networks section, touch the More item.
- Choose Mobile Networks. On some Android phones, you may have to choose Battery & Data Manager and then Data Delivery.
- Remove the check mark by the Data Roaming option.
Why is my roaming not working?
