Using a mixture of synthetic materials, ferrous river sand, and iron particles the Total Control Ball absorbs the hitter’s swing and distribute that power evenly throughout the ball to provide immediate feedback with every swing.
Do total control balls hurt composite bats?
Do NOT use a composite bat with any weighted ball. Including the dimple balls that come out of the pitching machine. They break the fibers in the bat and cause premature wear.

How much do softballs cost?
You can get a new softball between $4 and $10 each. The leather balls generally cost more than synthetic ones. Also, note that there isn’t much difference between the slow-pitch and fast-pitch balls.
Is throwing a weighted baseball good?
Throwing with weighted baseballs increases your external rotation rapidly by a lot. The heavier the ball, the more the range of motion increases.
Can you hit pitching machine balls with a composite bat?
When using a pitching machine for hitting practice the “standard” rule has been to NEVER use composite bats when hitting rubber, dimpled balls.
Are dimple balls bad for wood bats?
We avoid hitting dimple balls with high end composite bats. Rubber balls don’t compress the same as baseballs (nor do they weight the same). As such, the odds of cracking the barrel increase with dimple balls. A cracked composite barrel is as good as done.
