In 2013, it's time for all Rhode Island families to have the freedom to marry! If you agree that the General Assembly should pass a marriage bill this year, sign our petition now and urge our state legislators to ensure that all Rhode Island families are valued and protected.

If marriage stabilizes communities, it seems like it would benefit society to have it available for all.

The time has come to release same-sex couples from religious persecution. In a state founded on religious freedom, we have an obligation to our history and for equality. We have roughly 16 state senators standing between us and the freedom to marry. Call, write, get involved…the time is now.

It’s time to stand up for the basic American principal of equality — every citizen should be able to marry the person of their choosing.

The definion of “MARRIAGE” will some day be re-defined; and all inclusive of the unification of two individuals and will add the unification of a man and women to populate the human race! RI Think outside the box and support equality and non-discrimination!!! RHODE ISLAND SHOULD NOT BE THE ONLY NEW ENGLAND STATE NOT TO SUPPORT EQUALITY, SHAME ON US!!!

Any couple who love each other should be allowed to legally marry regardless of sex, race, age, etc., etc., etc.!

Let the churches dictate to their own membership and then people can choose which church they plan to attend/support.
