I have been with my partner/husband for 15 wonderful years. We have two children and our family is no different (besides anatomical parts) than any other family raising children. We pay our taxes and abide by the laws and we are not entitled to the same federal rights as heterosexual couples. I dont understandy why we are obligated to contribute like every other American but we are not treated us anyother American.

Discrimination of ANY KIND
Must not be left to individual States !!
The Federal Goverment must pass
Laws that Encompass All States ,
The ’ Freedom To Pursue Happiness
Means Every Person in Our Country
Legislation will not mean acceptance
But it Will be Equally Enforced
Too many , SoSo many have been disowned
By their families , friends an How
Many young people are struggling
Have no one to turn to , ie End Up
Choosing Suicide .
I know of many , had a case where
Young man living with his partner
Was diagnosed with Aids an died
One month after diagnosis .
Parents were in Florida , they were
Notified an sent Money back for their
Sons BURIAL ! I’ll never forget his
Face . We must stand Strongly
Together . I have in my extended
Family gay loved ones . Our families
Stance has always been to NOT have
Anyone in our home who is biased
How can we be " HUMAN " , or think
We are an take ?? Action
Mystery of Life sic .
The Hope Lives On …

It should be equal no matter what gay or straight. What really matters that the couple are happy in their relationship. We should have the same privilege as straights do
