Units are designed to be taken sequentially. The refresher course is comprised of various short modules which take about 5-10 minutes to complete. The refresher course in its entirety takes approximately 45 minutes to complete.
How often do you have to update CITI training?
The CITI certification in Human Subjects must be renewed every three years. If you do not renew your certification the IRB will not be able to process applications, renewals or modifications to your study.
Can you retake Citi quizzes?
You may retake the quiz by scrolling to the bottom of the Exam Results page and selecting “View this Module Again.” You may retake the course as many times as necessary to receive an adequate score. Retaking a quiz before you complete the course is the only way your updated scores will show on your completion report.

Allegations of inappropriate use will be investigated, and the results may be reported to the organization(s) with which a learner is affiliated.
