Nearby Theaters Southern Maryland’s newest multiplex is now open in April 2013, just outside of Waldorf in Brandywine. The theater was originally the site of a Kerasote venue, but that chain was eventually bought by AMC.

Unfortunately, in November 2017, Kandi announced she would not be making new music with Xscape and wanted instead to pursue Broadway roles. Then in 2018, the group downsized to a trio without Kandi and rebranded as XSCAP3.
